Limited to 1080i? That's a 16x9 aspect ratio... I had a CRT that did 1600x1200 back in like 1995. Are you thinking of just TVs? Because most of them did suck. There were lots of excellent computer monitors however...

Let's stop trying to pick a side here... Maybe it's more of a symbiotic relationship. Google gets a useful news page, the news media get links to their articles. I honestly could care less about either of them. I think they should

You just said a bunch of stuff that normal people don't care about. Those are Best Buy's customers. The store will be stocked with shitty laptops and low end hardware that anybody who works with computers wouldn't touch.

Good news is that nobody is forcing you to use the alt stores. You can stay in the Apple App Store all you want.

I really believe it's because deep down, people love the big shiny brand Google Chrome, yet they know it's kinda fucked. So when they see things like this, they are able to justify it in their minds that they made the right decisi

Maybe they used to be better. I love my Surface Pro 2. Paired up with Linux, it's a kick ass little machine.

They'll lock it down like an iPhone soon enough. The writing has been on the wall for years. Apple and Microsoft are frothing at the mouth to do this. But they have to do slowly boil the frog, because they know it's the only way p

THC interferes with the REM cycle. This is why when heavy smokers quit, they have crazy dreams for a few weeks. That's probably why you feel so groggy the next day when you take higher doses. You were asleep, but not getting good sleep

This happens to me with my prescription meds too. Always have to go back to the doctor and get a higher dose. Then the higher dose causes side effects, it sucks.

To be fair. Celerons were really terrible. I ran them for a long time (even was running dual celerons on a board at one point) and overclocked the crap out them. Then I switched to an actual Pentium 3 chip and it blew them away. Never went

Any car can be a race car, period. I used to do track days in my Honda Fit. And there are actual competitive classes for them. If you want to get on the track, bring what you've got. I've seen people bring minivans to track days b

Amateur Formula One? Is that really a thing? How do they class the cars? Every year the cars are different due to rule changes. Unless everybody has a used F1 car from the same year, it seems like the cars could be pretty unmatched.

They are okay with it at first because they don't realize they're going to wear out their cars. Then when the car is in the shop for a week, and they can't work, they're not only paying for expensive repairs, but also no

I'm on a gen 1 dish. And sometimes my ping is under 20ms, usually it's around 40-60. This guys ping is terrible, and he has shitloads of obstructions.

My favorite part was how this politician-bribing, crooked, lobbying business owner is just looking out for his business. Can't blame him. Nope, no blame on these guys modifying the law for their own profit... No, it's all the Gove
