Few worthwhile efforts are ever successful on the first attempt. Failures are essential to progress. They provide an improved understanding of the context and a guide to achieving a better outcome. Failure has nothing to do with guilt. Fa

I want to add one more thing to my post. Don't be afraid to follow your distractions. Everyone has experienced how stepping away from a problem for a bit can be a tremendous aid in acquiring insights. We ADHD folks do this constantl

I have ADHD and it has effected every day of my life since I flunked out of Stanford in 1968. I have a few coping skills that might help you. They focus more on things involved in getting an education rather than directly on learning itse

Former Vice President Biden promised that the U.S. would take covert action to punish Russia for interfering with the U.S. election. What better way to do that than to plant fake evidence implicating the IT people involved for treason and t

Memory usage and run-time don't matter any more. When I started programming, 1968, minimizing these was the core value used in judging how good a programmer you were. This has not changed in many people's minds. Once I stopped c

Note that the 5 most walkable cities in the U.S. are among the most expensive cities in the country. It is the huge (and largely unmet) demand to live in such cities that drives the cost of real estate and eventually the other high costs o

I've launched multiple side projects since the early 1970s. Nothing in the way of marketing has worked for me, but I think I have finally found an approach that works. I know it's counter-intuitive, but, trying to find customers
