I hate saying that anything is no longer useful, but the commenter above has a point about how tech will get lost as it becomes outdated and useless. Your example, for instance, shows that those data structures were useful, because they wer

I bought 14 games last year from the early 2000's, racing simulator games. They absolutely suck compared to today's racing simulators, except that they don't because they did stuff differently that they don't do today an

Is woodworking valid with power tools or is the tool doing the art? What about a CNC in the workshop? I think it’s all valid because the art is in the planning and resulting furniture. Same thing for coding. Even an LLM needs human creative

I never thought hard about the last part of your comment here, but it really seems strange that it's been normalized to train high-schoolers in the USA to do military drills and such. There's not a lot of weapons training, I don&#

Yea they added flight deck doors that you can’t get through and a policy that the doors stay closed through a flight. The TSA did nothing to help, the planes are a hard target now.

Sure, I’m saying someone make a cheaper kit that goes into a Corolla and with various range options. I’d pay a lot to replace all the maintenance parts with electric stuff for my everyday driver. I’d spend more than my car is worth to keep
