I need to second all of these points and add in the additional reason I don’t use it often: unless it’s a very common use case and I just need some boilerplate starting code I already know I’m going to spend more time fixing the issues it c

Oh yeah definitely. The context matters. For making CRUD apps or anything that doesn’t involve security or stores sensitive information I 100 percent agree it’s fine. The issue I see is that we get some people storing extremely sensitive in

I’d take it a step further honestly. You need to be precise and exact but you also have to have enough domain knowledge to know when the LLM is making a huge mistake.

I’m amazed at the number of adults that think LLMs are “alive”. Let’s be clear, they aren’t, but if you truly believe they are and you still use them then you’re essentially practicing slavery.

Sure, but that’s not what being xenophobic means. Do you think that maybe it’s possible the OP has a problem with the program and that crying racism whenever someone brings it up might actually be hurting your argument?

It’s preferred method of text. 4o Maintain context and trigger at 1 second intervals. It has no desires of its own. Nothing that motivates it. It’s not conscious.

Sure, so I just tried it with visual and audio input. It does nothing. Because there is not impetus for it to do anything by itself.

We put the LLM in a loop with no instructions with whatever tools you want. Now what?

Slow doesn’t necessarily mean less creative. In fact it’s been argued that being slow and deliberate actually pulls you out of automated patterns of thinking and gives you time to mull over what you want to say. This is even enhanced when y

Helen Keller did in fact make her demands they just couldn’t be known. In contrast the LLM does nothing of its own volition.

This isn’t meant to be a gotcha or anything I swear but you say 6 paying customers and your site says “5000 have already taken advantage of this offer”. Is this maybe something the AI stuck in that you might have accidentally overlooked?

Great article and great system. A little out of scope since the article wasn’t about the finer points of ADHD but I’ve always wondered if we’re being disingenuously hard on ourselves by labeling it a disorder. So many people show the sympto

No, it can’t. Partially stems from the garbage the models were trained on. Example anecdata but since we started having our devs heavily use agents we’ve had a resurgence of mostly dead vulnerabilities such as RCEs (CVE in 2019 for example)
