Okay, I really need to spend a bit more time before I'd feel comfortable doing that but I'll definitely take your advice to advertise it sooner rather than later.

The static site is already up, but I don't get why I'd buy ads before creating an actual product to show. I guess you can see a YouTube video of my prototype on the static site ?

Unless you're already known in your industry investors aren't exactly lining up to write checks. For my current passion project, a video game , I plan on dumping between 10 to 20k in before trying to pitch it to publishers. When t

You can enjoy coffee without grinding your own beans. I personally find lower level programing to be frustrating and difficult. I've built an amazing career with JavaScript and C# primarily. My hobbyist projects use C# , JS and Flutter

True story , when Swift was announced I started cheering so loudly in the office I had to be told to calm down. I hate objective C with a passion. It's like some archaic language of a bygone era forced to run on a cell phone

Would it be theoretically possible, to end up using this as sort of a scripting language for rust or whatever. I'm imagining Deno somehow getting complied down to Rust and then running at Rust speed. I basically want low level performa

You still have to legally file taxes for the LLC and stuff. Feels a bit silly if I'm ultimately not planing on making money

For your game did you open an LLC to publish it. I'm debating doing that now, but it comes off as a ton of work where I don't particularly think I'll make money .

Or Unity Linux is less stable ? Like if y'all really want I can upload the Linux build and make it clear it's not going to work as well. I can't support every single distro after all

Unity actually exports Linux binaries so most developers could do Linux natively. The issue ends up being support cost vs sales. If 1% of your fan base runs Ubuntu, but they're 50% of your big reports, it's cheaper to not worry ab

Give a 100xer a boss who berates him for not writing enough comments and s/he is no longer a 100xer. If anything I've seen more people get in trouble just for being jerks, you can do very well as a bad developer you just can'

I'll venture to say 100xers don't exist. If your in a team which helps you succeed you'll perform better. I've been very good at leaving jobs where I don't feel like I'm a good fit. On my previous team I spent
