The current X1/X13 have the best laptop keyboard I have used since my old T42, they are quite nice to type on. The whole chiclet or not thing is primarily aesthetic, having little bevels on the edges of the keys does not affect use, I

As long as you are progressing I would not worry too much about it. Mix some easier pieces in so you also get practice at playing in/on time but keep at that harder stuff, you will not progress as a musician without pushing your bounda

Social media opened a massive can of worms which everyone has largely avoided for good reason, I can not see an outcome for such a case which I can call good, we end up either giving the corporation more power or the government more power.

The quick version without all the vague distro talk and a few more Thinkpads thrown in. Current T14/X1/X13 laptops need at least a 5.19 kernel to work but 5.19 is buggy on them in multiple ways and should be avoided. 6.x kernels a

For primarily vocal work the Rode Podmic may be a nice and cheap alternative to the RE320 and other big studio dynamics, they look quite nice. They will not make a good general purpose mic since the high frequency response is not great but

Software is getting worse because there is a hell of a lot more of it being written and much of it is written for a quick buck. The hype around AI is because it is a big a step forward and the media is thrilled to have something new to talk

For $400 I would go with an RE320 and get some good accessories to go with it. SM7B is great as well, I just prefer the RE320's sound but I would be perfectly content with either as an only mic.

I would go with an RE320 for that money and your situation, they do well in the small uncontrolled room and have a great sound. But then again the RE20/320 are probably my favorite mics so I am biased. Edit: Regarding pattern, cardioid
