Are they connected to Apex Jr? A lot of overlap between them, have sort of suspected Jr runs off of the trash of surplus but have never known for certain. Apex Jr helped make my electronics habbit possible back when I was young and poor.

A resistor is not circuitry, the resistor is a part of a circuit which in this case is analog.

That is what I see, most of the liquor stores here have decreased their wine/champagne selection in favor of seltzers (THC sort and alcohol sort).

It is an analog of a traditional burning fuel lighter. But they are using analog to refer to the fact it relies completely on analog circuitry and I suspect they actually wanted to point out the fact that it is 100% passive circuitry relyin

Much of the moderation on HN is by the community through flagging and voting, the mods can not possibly read every single comment. Overall it works pretty good and having a bunch of grayed out comments at the bottom of a thread is hardly a

I would guess the headaches caused by new area codes is less than the headaches caused by typos. The one that gets me is fractional addresses, surprising how many sites do not allow 1/2s; most of the restaurants here use the same POS s

If it was a sign of something larger it probably would not be so isolated, all the geysers in the area would have gone off. I would guess this is either the formation of a new geyser or an old one which has a long duration between eruptions

Cows have incisors, should cows also eat real meat? Incisors are more for cutting than tearing, canines do the tearing but human canines are too short to effectively tear. Cows also have canines. I would give cultivated meat a try but I don

That is pretty much a given with hand grinders, whirling blades don't really work when hand cranking. They could use a different sort of burr or the flat stone style more commonly seen in flour mills or even the roller mill style but g

I think this will require more than politeness. Just thinking about the phone calls I would get from parents if they switched to linux cause me to sweat. I am pretty happy with them sticking to OSX, means my sister gets all the calls.

Counterpoint has its limits and a good amount of what Bach is remembered for is pushing those limits and moving us beyond counterpoint, composing like Bach is antithetical to who Bach was.

An introvert is not some passive person following the trends, extroverts are more likely of that behavior and it is part of what makes extroverts extroverted, the social aspects of life have greater importance to them.
