The HTTP GET method is idempotent: it should behave the same way on multiple accesses. A single use link, e.g. for resetting a password or confirming a subscription, will usually show a webpage with a form that does a POST. Once that POST h

RQBG is not changing a lot any more because for me it works fine and some people are using it. There's currently one patch in the works, but other than that it's stable. Initially, I blogged quite a bit and put effort into good de

Randomly choosing a value means that references can be broken. I'm guessing that automerge would not be able handle a JSON that needs to adhere to a JSON Schema. A system that only applies changes when the resulting JSON meets the Sche

You can use a magnet or ipfs uri or add a triple that specifies other properties of the file that let you find it. Semantic web uses IRIs in triples. They serve as identifiers, not locators (URL). This is because semantic web talks about mo

Sqlite does indeed not have an array type for columns. The overhead of (de)serializing binary values or json values would have to be offset against the advantage of cache coherence. Or one could implement a virtual table that stores arrays

Using Sqlite for semantic web is the topic of the post. And while Sqlite is not suited for billions of triples, it can be adequate for the small graphs. The advantage is that Sqlite is widely deployed.

The locality that you want for performance is available as row values in sqlite. Sqlite seems to have the parts needed to build a graph db.

Modelling transitive edges can be done in Sqlite with recursive common table expressions. The performance for that is probably less than for graphs databases, but Sqlite has many other advantages over graph databases.

Isn't scaling from 3072x1728 to 3840x2160 (so 125%) very blurry? A one-pixel line at 3072x1728 would be spread over slight more than line pixel wide on 4k. To get nice integer scaling one could render at 15360x8640 (16k) which is 5x307
