Until you see someone do it with buying gift cards. Those people are bastards. In that case using a service that helps detect fraudulent card usage is bueno.

My point is you’re not detecting the ones that you should be the most concerned with.

I think they meant, since they can't afford the API, they'd just keep crawling your HTML. Combo move the API and putting your stuff behind auth and you solve a lot of the problem. You've gotta get that good yummy content publ

Build a revshare API. I assume the people that can't afford it are using it for non-revenue generating purposes. I don't know that I'd care about those people if they aren't taking away from my bottom line.

Caveat to my wasted effort comment: Your'e an e-commerce site that has a problem with people buying goods (especially virtual goods, ebooks, gift cards, etc)[1] with stolen credit cards. You need a solution. The hardest thing I've

Blocking crawlers is dead simple: Find a way to build an API for your data that allows you both to make money. Any effort besides that is wasted. Honey pots links? Great my crawler only clicks things that are visible. See capybara. IP thres

What site? I’d guess LinkedIn or Facebook. I’ve had to make a lot of fake accounts to get just a decent amount of data from them.

I’m willing to wager it’s regular old floating point and it just draws the repeating bar over the repeating decimals.

I’ve been carless in LA for a year. I walk to most things I need and work from home, so I’m lucky. Otherwise I bike or Uber/Lyft based on price. I also have an Amex platinum which gets you $200 of Uber credit a year. The one thing you’

I have a question for AI/NLP experts (and I might use the wrong terms). When our voices are processed in systems like these are the results compared to a corpus of our own speech, a local (geo) population, or language speakers as a who

So I’ve got a question for you legal scholars. If it’s unconstitutional does that mean the people behind it broke laws or is this simply the court citing why the map was rejected?

I’ve been curious about this. I’ve thought about it (inspired by event sourcing), but am not familiar with the Blockchain enough to know if it’s feasible from the trust/security side.

We always carried “totems”. Little trinkets that we’d hold while waiting for the effect while silently repeating to ourselves that this would remind us we’re just high. Be damned if you lost that thing though. Mine was a toy kitten holding

You don’t even need that. You can work some magic with CSS to hide/show and even rotate/flip elements using inputs. > input:checked + div { display: none; } Some people don’t like that either though. :/

Native applications don’t get blocked waiting for backend engineers to implement a new REST endpoint? Native applications don’t benefit from smaller responses of just the data they need to render a view? I am confused.

I think GraphQL is useful for getting data for UIs on any platform. - build views without being blocked waiting for a new rest endpoint - get exactly what the UI needs to render [edit] Although to negate my own first point, nb4 being blocke
