If we're playing the browserbench game, vivaldi / chrome are pretty close, I'd say within the margin of error.

I appreciate the context, and I definitely wasn't trying to say you're not right with your experience! We simply seem to have different experiences, I probably got luckier a bit.

The PIP does two important things: 1. Raises the stakes 2. Involves a 3rd party (yes, yes, we can argue that HR is not your friend, etc.), which _can_ help with the trust (it's not just you & me anymore, you not knowing how I twist

I disagree, having been on both sides of PIPs. Not all PIP reasons are about not being a certain level of engineer. Sometimes it's about behaviors or the lack of them. In some cases, the forcing function of a strict timeline with high

I had the same experience. Even if uBlock Origin kind of works, somehow it doesn't block the same number of ads as it does with other browsers, I wonder why. Same uBlock Origin version, same filters enabled, fewer ads blocked on Orion.

I disagree. For me (can't speak for others), ad/tracker blocking is an essential part of the browsing experience. I want a built-in, performant solution instead of depending on a 3rd party addon.

Actually, one nice-to-have: built in, performant ad blocking which is extensible (preferably compatible with existing lists), like e.g., Brave or Vivaldi does.

Two things stand out: 1. native vertical tabs 2. native tab groups Yes, I know there are extensions for these things, but I, personally, find them horrible.

Now if only it had native tab grouping (and vertical tabs, sigh)... all the extensions supporting this are quirky, with subpar UI. I know it sounds nitpicky, but if I spend a lot of hours staring at a piece of software, I want it to be at l
