I did 2 to 3 migrations. It was fine. I would rather deal with these types of issues once in a while than work everyday with Java.

I have developed insanely complicated software with Python that works pretty well. If you expect to find Java or C in Python you are looking at the wrong place.

I do not (almost everyone else too) associate "reputable scientist" with University of Maryland. So they should show a bit of humility.

I have similar thoughts. If this is real it is hard to believe that Korean government was not involved in it.

CMTC comes of as a whiny little POS tbh. They have the exact opposite of the attitude I would have expected from a scientist. In their first thread regarding this topic they were almost flat out belittling the og authors. WTF.

Hold on you think Cola company is not doing nefarious stuff? This feels like late stage capitalism. Why do you feel this much of a need to defend a corporation? I am as much of a capitalist as it gets but come on. https://laborri

Not really. Coke has a lot of caffeine which makes it a lot more addictive.

What is there to disagree about Coke being bad for people. You may like the taste or not that is debatable.

I think it is crazy to price software that way. Do you also price airline tickets, car purchase etc that way?

Why is the pricing tied to how much time it saves you and what hourly rate are you basing your calculations on?

Another prediction from a genius forecaster. This post reads like illogic 101. How do you teach someone horrors of Nuclear weapon by nuking a city?

I played with Llama2 for a bit and for a lot of the questions I asked I got complete made up garbage stuff. Why would you want to train on it?

Wow were you able to see the future? There is a name for what you are saying but I do not remember what it is called false dichotomy? - Option 1: Kill 200k. - Option 2: Do not kill 200k Which one do you choose?

"Oh you do not understand it was complicated"? I think what you are saying is just creating another excuse to justify the bombing. As complex as it is at the end of the day you are making a decision to nuke a nation. Do you think

What do you mean ethics? Of murdering people? I am to this day baffled by American people justifying the use of nuclear bomb and try to make it sound like it saved people. Stop! Just frigging say we did it and we won the war simple as that.

Absolutely Andrew NG would make questionable decisions imo. I was shocked to see him teach his classes with Matlab year over year when everyone and their mother was proficient in python.
