Have you confirmed there are no practical effects in this — definitely it seemed like a lot had to be animated from the timing of events, to cutesy thinks like the smile ball squeeze. Like if this was hand drawn animation, would anyone care

That “unintended” honesty may be too close to home, and been a catalyst to the outrage. I mentioned in another thread, if they showed AI “crushing” the artist (ie replacing) that would have been the powder keg.

I think it was pleasant that it didn’t showcase AI as now making all the art.

It is amazing visuals, I think everyone kind of wants to see what throwing paint around, smashing a guitar, etc feels like and this kind of does that. I do hope it all computer generated or props — it was a great collection of culture, even

The value of TSLA stock has little to do with fundamentals for many years now. It’s a cult of retail investors, “reputation” seems like a strong word to describe what they value.

How do you disentangle damage from the vaccine vs damage from COVID, which often was asymptomatic? There are some acute sudden onset symptoms associated and documented for the vaccine, but I honestly have no idea how to distinguish root ca

We had Google fi for $25/line for 6 lines. But VZW works out to $31/line for 6 lines; and we got 6 “free” iPhone 14. So it definitely seems like the better deal over the 3 year contract period — $1300 extra for 6 new phones. But I

It’s obv a person manipulating the mouse and scroll. It’s very uneven and jerky. Do these tools provide HMI automation, where you script the mouse movements/clicks/scrolls during the recording?

What’s disappointing is that there won’t be many useful leftovers (AI may be the exception). Blockchain has been around for a decade and still has no use, etc. last bubbles at least we had lots of cheap houses, dark fiber, web infrastructur

But is it easy for a lower economic state kid to befriend rich kids? They do come from different worlds, and even the activities (skiing for a weekend, taking taxis to concerts, etc) can divide you. This was partly my experience, though it

So 7 out of 10 retire before 65. And 1/3 of those are for health reasons. So I would guess the majority retired early because of layoffs and unable to find new job. Thus an article about ageism without mentioning it? My family had 6

Commuting has long been known to be detrimental to health. Exercise may have ticked up since walking became much more common. People were “locked down” at least in the US for like a bad winter season. Maybe diet was a problem (too much sou

We definitely own a house and it’s not all terrible. But where we live house prices have probably doubled in 20 years; if we had bought 5 years earlier (when we were in college), we would have seen our home value quintuple.
