I did look at https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html btw. It seems to have great intentions. I have no idea about the level of compliance since it's purely voluntary it seems. I would love to see the data around clots,

1. My doctor(s) (in USA) told me so. They were not aware of any data collection around this and my condition. I did explicitly ask them. 2. Where is this data? If it's being collected, we should be able to see it or clear conclusions f

I think my biggest issue with the whole thing is lack of data collection at the national level about adults who face cardiovascular issues and their vaccination/covid status. If I was rolling out a new vaccine at the national level, th

I don't fully understand. Are you saying since vaccines were broadly introduced, they are less likely to be the culprit? How is that implied? 30% increase in heart attacks in young age group is pretty broad too. This study doesn't

Yes, that's definitely possible. All of this would be much easier to decipher if the studies went deeper into cohorts of who got the vaccination and where the heart attack delta is. So if you had 4 cohorts of people and noticed their h

It's difficult to draw conclusions because first graph is not the delta in deaths, just total deaths. and southern states have always had a high cardiovascular mortality. I guess the bigger question that I often have is why the rush to

I always use the gas stoves as a backup to power outages, to cook and make food. This has come handy in 2-3 emergencies already where gas distribution is not disrupted even during a power outage. A part of me feels nervous becoming so centr

No. Every Mac has the "Stickies" application built in. And it also allows any note to "float on top" so it's always visible. This way you can create your ideal focus reminder that stays on top, anywhere on the scree

FWIW, I just use a floating sticky note on my Mac for my "current focus". They work really well and are much more flexible in terms of how much information you're comfortable with.

I had PRK done in 2010 and still have 20/20 all these years later. Definitely a huge upgrade to my quality of life as I hated glasses/contact lenses. I went with a high end clinic in NYC recommended by a colleague. They had weekly

My favorite so far is Les Mills VR. It feels like a genuine workout, especially the longer more intense ones. Other famous ones are Supernatural, FitXR etc. But they all have subscription models and Les Mills doesn't.

I agree that sticking contact lenses isn't going to be too fun unless the utility is really super compelling and then it becomes a part of your routine. Imagine overlays on demand for any context. Light weight glasses is another option

I'd say what lies at top of the food chain of cause and effect is simply coming from "availability bias" i.e. we give more weight to what we know to be true. Yes some things have more downstream effects than others and that&#

I think both can be true. While what you say feels holistic and true philosophically, in day to day, we cannot control for 1000 different variables and some things have more of an outsized effect than others. For example if someone wrote &q
