Your grind was probably too fine. If you have a grinder at home try using a more course setting. Some grocery shops have grinders in the coffee aisles with adjustable settings. Alternatively you can use cheesecloth, a press, or a pour over

It's a nice gesture, but will it accomplish anything? It's only a matter of time before people get priced out of the web. It will either need to be re-hauled and classified as basic utility - or a new alternative will have to be i

To each his own - personally I don't get validation from material goods, vacations, or social status. If that's what makes you tick, then by all means work your fingers to the bone trying to achieve those things. But this shouldn&

Ideally you should be able to live life without these worries on a singular, average paying job - no? These events could happen to everyone - why is it required to go "above and beyond" to have some sort of sense of security in li

The issue is circular, in this regard. You should't HAVE to work two jobs or perform above average just to make ends meet. FWIW, I'm 25, working in non-tech at the moment, making 32k a year in the one of the more expensive cities

There's a reason there are 17,000 boarded up homes. It's not a desirable place to live. Housing follows jobs market, not the other way around.

One mans enrichment is another's spam. Facebook is the king of suggestions, and its too general at best and too annoying at worst. The only enrichment I want touching my email inbox is better spam filtering.

There's a weird mentality in America (assuming that's where you are located) that average is bad. Average is just average. There's no reason you need to be a multi-millionaire with 6 houses, 12 cars, and endless spending cash

There is no such thing as an objectively correct or incorrect world-view. It's an opinion and is shaped by culture, circumstance, and upbringing. To answer you question - Yes, I would support the rights of people to state whatever they

As I said in another comment - I don't disagree with Harvard's decision, or any decision made by a private institution or person. I disagree with the notion that certain types of speech or thought are universally wrong. Personally

I wholeheartedly agree with this. As a private institution, Harvard can choose to deny acceptance to anyone for any reason. I don't agree with their reasoning, but I agree with their right to decide. Next time don't use Facebook.

CTs main problem is that it has no identity or culture of its own. It's biggest draw is that it's close to other cultural hubs (BOS and NYC). Why pay crazy taxes to live in a place where the only thing to do is leave? I guess if y

No. At this point you could hardly convince me to GET paid to vote. Broken system and poor process already makes this a hassle. Why would I pay to to exercise my right as a citizen of a democratic nation?

On average my actual work load is between 3-4 hours including daily reports, correspondence, and meetings. The rest of the day is spent trying to look busy. I wouldn't mind a 5-6 hour work day. That's plenty of time to get everyth

Agree with this. Outside of the normal complaints wedged against Flickr, people moved into a mobile-first world and left Flickr in the dust. If flickr wanted back in the game they'd have to jump in the mobile market and re-design their
