And the Microsoft Professional certificates, the iPhone apps, etc. I'm also 16. But I don't think these are very important things to know, then again, I like CS more than programming.

Me too. That's the only feature I really want in Firefox, I think.

Well, it's not the first true advance, but it's got tab processes and the Javascript engine (JIT compiler, I think it was) and some other new ideas.

Just leave a notebook or a couple of letters in your house, in a somewhat accessible place, when you die they'll come pick up your stuff, find the letters and distribute them. And you want me to pay for that, while involving a third party?

I'm just learning stuff right now, I don't possess enough knowledge to "hack". But I suppose I'm a hacker at heart, dunno, maybe I don't have enough experience to know yet.

Okay, the "correct" example for the clicking area mistake has an icon on the left of the link, and it makes sense to expand the clickable area because it stays rectangular, adding clickable space for the comments link on HN would feel rathe

I know. So maybe some tweets are interesting, they usually contain links to blog posts worth checking out. I'll get to them through Reddit or HN, maybe I just don't like to be so connected.

I don't, because I don't feel necessary to post every single thought I have, because I might not know what to post, or just basic laziness. But I'll probably get one in the near future.

I'm getting a bit tired of these people, they post stupid mindless entries that make the whole blogosphere shake like they know everything about programming and their word is holy. They argue with common practices or beliefs and all of the

Maybe delaying subsequent POSTs from the same server, unless it's whitelisted, and Bayesing out fishy requests. That should reduce the load.

Good thinking! I guess we'll have to devise some way to avoid these kinds of cycles, or limit them by setting some type of maximum number of bounces on a webhook message.

I must say I really like this idea. I don't know why it took so long to kick in, though, it's quite simple. Finally sites don't work just as servers, but also as clients, information reflectors, mirrors or whatever.

We've been through this before! I'll just quote myself from a month ago: Facebook: full-fledged social network. Twitter: simple, quick-posting environment. There IS a big difference between these two sites, Facebook won't kill twitter, we

You're completely right. I wish religions were focused on morals, on reasonable morals, instead of opposing science in some aspects. And I believe that spreading the idea that condoms are bad was not just a big mistake the Church made and p

Exactly. I don't really need the karma for me, but we need it as a community to tell good and bad content apart.

You always learn from all types of experience. Of course you won't just learn how to do something by doing it wrong many times, but the reason for the "cultural fascination with failure" is that if you don't try you don't succeed, and if yo
