I'm pro-CSS as well, but the OP made a great point. There are many important bugs in the implementation that stop us from completely separating content from presentation, yet it's the platform with largest userbase, and all that causes. Loa

He makes a great point. Besides, your tables will work on more browsers than the CSS layouts.

It isn't. I've come up with a few great ideas in these threads.

That's actually one of my childhood fears. Just that they were live beings, not machines.

You are welcome. And by the way, have you seen the ads on those sites? Right now: Hottest Clickbank Products , Make Money in 4 Minutes! , $3,456/daily , Fat Loss 4 Idiots / Weight Loss and Diet Center to paste a few. Is that going to h

Yes, but at the same time I'd rather use a service where quality of content is more important than the time spent on a site reading somebody else's tweets you don't care about. And yours is not a bad idea, but I, personally, wouldn't use it

Exactly, you read somebody's tweets for the sole purpose of getting other people to read your tweets, and they only do that so that more people read theirs, and so on, you get my point. And then maybe, just maybe there is this chance that o

It is possible, not specially hard, I implemented a Turing machine and a one-dimensional cellular automaton. You can program just about anything in a spreadsheet. I will later study the inner properties of the spreadsheet as a data structur

Well, I like your point. The only problem I see with linear conversations is when the comments are too many to follow responses easily, things get really messy at that point and the very best one can do is jump around following links and tr

Too bad most of Windows users won't be able to see it correctly. And too bad those are the vast majority of Twitter users. (And it's complicated to type in.)

Really? I'd find it hard to believe that it isn't Turing complete. The only reason I can think of would be limits on nested functions or otherwise, but I dunno, I've been googling around myself and some say it isn't. Well, next thing to do:

I do not want to prove it, because I'm lazy, but I know it's trivially provable that it's possible to create a Turing machine in Excel in many ways. You could take any row or column to be the tape and store state and table in other cells. T
