So that's why I couldn't downvote even though I have 69 karma!
- acangiano 18y agoAs a reminder, downvoting should not occur to express disagreement with a commenter. It's a collective form of moderation for inappropriate comments.

Obviously the uparrows aren't only for applauding politeness, so it seems reasonable that the downarrows aren't only for booing rudeness.
