I have a much bigger problem with the driver who is too busy talking on the phone or giving me their card to even take the exits the GPS is telling them to take. I can't wait for self driving taxi services.

I just don't understand what I'm supposed to get out of it. 30 minutes a week is plenty for me and we usually run out of stuff to talk about anyway. What if I have no issues with coworkers, I'm not burnt out, and I like my pr

Maybe Google figured it out from the activity your link provided in the last 8 hours, but when I click on [1], the top result is [0], and there is a prompt asking if I meant "united.com".

I don't understand the idea that VR will make business travel unnecessary. What problem does VR solve that video conferencing doesn't? The ability to turn your head? The reason business travel, and in general non-remote work, is w

I don't think the Assistant Vice Provost of Academic Student Affairs Outreach has any role so pragmatic as aiding in grant preparation. I think they spend most of their time responding to emails and attending meetings about recruitment

Adjuncts are supposed to fill in the gaps when there are more classes than can be taught by the full time faculty. The real problem is that as admissions increase, rather than creating more tenure track jobs, they create an adjunct position
