Sorry, I use a phone to look up transit info and it's 100x more convenient. There's a massive and tangential discussion to be had about tech and it's influence on culture and connectivity, but that's not for this thread.

What a horribly myopic take, it completely changes the "outcomes". I am way more productive and happy: - I save more money so I have more to spend towards productive uses. - I don't die as often, living is productive. - I lis

Swap in a 2022 Toyota 4Runner and my argument stands. I was hoping I didn’t have to state that obvious fact. I also have a 10 year warranty so in 10 years it will definitely be serviced. As the sibling comment points out on average longevit

I upgraded from a 95 4Runner to a 22 Outlander and it’s like a spaceship on wheels in comparison. Literally every piece of the car is in a different class and the tech is insane that just didn’t exist then, I mean it basically drives itself

That’s my point though, if you want to use SQLite in production / with Litestream, you’re comparing two databases that need servers to function just implemented quite differently. In the same vein as your article, it seems very fair to

I have a collagen issue and so googled for studies about omega 3 and collagen the other day. Was surprised to find a strong negative result for wound healing and collagen formation (in mice, but the effect size means something) https:/

This argues to the side of the point. There’s plenty of models where founders are rewarded for taking risks and the community ends up owning significant shares. In fact Jack himself seems to have been screwed out of much of his stake, which
