Passkeys reduce complexity, at least in my experience. A single click versus entering credentials then finding the 2FA pin on your phone or something.

Salesforce is one company I'm aware of that announced this sort of thing. I'm personally only more productive with the help of AI if one the following conditions are met; 1. It's something I was going to type anyway, but I ca

I dunno. If your immediate response is to lie rather than admit that you don't know something, it increases the probability that this is the person's default response when in such a situation. You don't want that person worki

It's pretty common to bruteforce subdomains of a domain you might be interested in, specially by attackers.

Good point. I checked the page it should be on, and the switch has disabled it. I checked also https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#lawful-bases and it smells like Firefox is selling its users out.

They didn't delete it. Go to the github diff they reference and check. It's still there. They just removed it from one of the JSON files but people here aren't actually checking facts, they're just jumping on the hate tr

There's a lot of stuff that does something after we thought it didn't. I don't quite trust folk when they say "Oh, that's just there in your body but it doesn't do anything." I get that some stuff genuinel

My personal experience with multiple doctors, some in primary care and others in hospitals, is that they often don't care and just want to get you out of the door. Bring up some symptoms not immediately easily attributed to something?

Do you think "unlimited leave" policies end up acting a bit like insurance models? Some people take a lot, many take a little, so it evens out to less-than-if-we-had-a-set-number-of-days?

This is pretty much implied here. Perplexity is an AI-focused company. They're trying to make money off of a shitty situation. AI is a "cheap" tool to use for this purpose. It's really, really scummy.

Netlify's pricing is pretty insane for bandwidth, yeah. They also are quite brutal when it comes to your site getting DOSed or some other form of traffic flood.
