There used to be a good reason to copy apple, but I am still struggling to find a recent phone with basic features. Battery, headphone jack, memory card, wifi, security updates.

Whenever people speak of birthrights, I get nervous.

They are. And one of those construsts is to not be compelled to pay people who do not represent you. Far left and right arguments against taxes aside, I think everyone agrees that you shouldnt have to tithe a church you do not attend.

Nobody has a 'Right' to compel payment for unwanted services.

You are correct with reguards to #4, the evo engines and later were all decent I hear. My point partly stands as nobody seems to leave their bike stock, and mods will be limited. American sportbikes have always had problems, even without ha

You could have more impact with a little less emphasis. I think the point stands fine on its own. Some of the supporting ideas you take as fact are still very much up for debate and will hurt your argument. Maybe better stated as: 'You

Most new bikes, and plenty of older imports, are nearly silent. They don't hear you till you pass. My old race bike got just as may blind merges as my quiet tourer. The difference seems to be riding style, staying out of blind spots an

I'll say it. This will fail. 1. Harley demographic is entrenched, hard to pivot. Most associate with wealthy boomers and 'lowlifes', or working class murica. Not things as popular today. Other, better, performance ebikes exis

If I had to guess, driving slow. Her pulling over instead of speeding up was smart, but mildly suspicious to a cop without an active call.

Proxy is the key word here. There are many more biases in SAT, ACT, than most general intelligence tests.

Very true, we only get correlation with this. I wonder how much the ACT and SAT scores differ compared to each other. It is well known the SAT tests more learned (larger social bias) abilities than the ACT. It may provide more perspective t

Quality sound quality testing is rare, mostly due to the fact that most of it is more marketing than reality (see beats headphones for example). Even the audiophile units often perform the same as a simple yamaha unit, but boy are they pret

Its been going so long, the talk show named after it has flipped script and is uncomfortably PC now. Oddly, back then, 'PC' was associated mostly with the conservative crowd.

The world continues to focus on cities, while the rest of the people are left behind. I notice a clear metropolitan bias on HN, often incredulous that 1st world citizens are still living in a unimproved state. Even an 30min from one of the

This is the kind of comment that really hits hard how unwilling tech workers are to stand up for ethics. "My cog in the machine is not hurting anyone, why should I care" is how things get very, very bad.
