Why flag this post? It is relevant. When Tiger woods got divorced his golf game spiraled downward. To say this will have absolutely zero impact on Amazon is naive. There are ownership issues that are worth billions to sort out.

This is a good step forward IMO. Life sentence was pretty harsh for 3 strikes on drug charges - 25 years is still a lot, but this sets the bar for the next iteration to keep getting lower

Second this - I immediately look for the financials because it is usually the first time they are being presented publicly Cool project nonetheless!

I’ve fantasized about the delivery to a person idea for a while. The next frontier after last mile - last foot. I figure drones will do it one day. Also sounds like something Amazon would do.

> Typically people will buy amazon ads at breakeven or worse in order to gain sales rank to get more organic sales. This is a very important point. I sell on Amazon and I run ads at break even profit to get more organic reviews and highe

Ha! I enjoyed this read. I am also colorblind. I do think one of the more interesting parts of being colorblind is the fact that I do not rely on color for ANYTHING. For example - Stoplight? What position is lit is my first thought. I think

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a brutalist web application? Edit: I see - To me, brutalist means as close to the basic raw HTML/ JavaScript as possible.

Yii2 with aws lightsail bitnami LAMP...mysql in the lightsail instance or RDS, nothing new or crazy but I know it and can get it done extremely quick. If the webapp takes off, I can figure the rest out later.

This is awesome. I was a DJ back in the early 2000s using Shoutcast [0] to stream. A lot of issues with obtaining music and obviously streaming rights. This is so easy to whip up your own station with a legit music source. Barrier to entry

It's important to note here that this will only work in densely populated areas. Otherwise FB will make you expand your radius / criteria to fit a large enough population potentially rendering the ad useless.

Short term bump in the road for Amazon. They will not need USPS in the long run anyway: - Build out own network (AMZL, Amazon Flex) - Buy UPS/Fedex/etc - Drone delivery It is unfortunate that AMZN is taking the fall for whatever t
