> reduce power consumption by up to 50%, improve performance by 30% and reduce area by 35% To be clear, you don't get all three. Also, are these Apple's numbers? They are better than what TSMC say (1st gen) 3nm silicon provides

How are there exactly zero photos showing how slim this thing is/isn't!?! EDIT: In other news, the settings menu of Pi Imager is brilliant. It automagically fills in your RSA public key, your WiFi details, and other time-saving de

But leaving things out to slowly die is maybe just as bad. I spent hours and hours playing TF2, and while I can still play it, last time I did it was full of hackers. It has ruined the memory for me.

Have you looked into cross-compiling those arm targets using Docker and Github Actions? I'm not familiar with the toolchain you have to use but other projects do that.

Not only that, most tory MPs will now have investments related to digital currency and will make a load of money off the back of this.

If you just want to solve fundamental build issues (rather than say, uploading artefacts etc), I open a PR, make the silly small edits/experiments using the in-browser file editor, then it runs the CI each time. If I ever get it workin

I had a Rapid UK backorder for a Pi 4 fulfilled earlier this week. They are out there, got to be quick / lucky.

Do you mean like https://newrustacean.com by Chris Krycho? Although you have to really concentrate when he starts reeling off those generic method signatures, I love that he went that way with it. And I think it works. Please do

Businesses and consumers don't see the same availability, apparently. And yes, they are very slowly becoming more available. But still no Pi 4 about.

I think you've misunderstood the parent comment. They were saying the current title could be misinterpreted to mean "base salary is being reduced by 6%". I didn't think that, but I can see where they are coming from.

I think Strava need to do a better job monetizing their Api. API consumers (other websites) should be charged and maybe even move integration support as a premium feature. They need to cash in on the fact that everyone is using them as a fi

He said "don't expect a pi 5 next year [2023]". In my optimistic mind that's because he wants to maintain the surprise. I know this is foolish, I know the background of his statement, but I'm going to keep the faith

My money is 2023. Eben never announces releases early so what he did/didn't say in that recent interview is meaningless. With the added bonus that this time he can also screw over all the scalpers. Let's see!

If DRM is still needed (no idea) then you'd expect an official product to support it. I can't think of a use case where lack of DRM support by the camera could possibly be a problem for you.

I have the exact same experience with mine. I have been running a specialised software build on my pi zero that I found somewhere and have been very happy with it.

If there was a massive alarm going off in my head and I was already at my computer, I'd probably take 2 mins to Google "how does a heat pump work". But I appreciate not everyone thinks like that.

I've found the TRV-less radiator is usually in the hallway as that's historically where a thermostat would live (ground floor, no windows, cool) and you don't want them to battle each other. You also want it to be sufficientl
