Sky Mavis raised $150M, and is going to be funding the remaining ~$470M to make investors whole. This doesn't look like it's one of those stories.

Most other commenters hit nailed it, it sounds like you're being a little overly self-critical. I always say it took me 2 years to start getting useful in coding, and after those 2 years it only took a couple years for me to become a

This is kind of what they've done with the Ethereum 2.0, "The Merge," change that they're working on now. They're splitting the consensus and the execution layers, in part to reduce complexity. I think the crux of

I’m suggesting that my covid led to long covid, which has been characterized as a persistent decrease in cardio capacity. In particular, the worst of it was me gasping for breath after a flight of stairs for about the first month.

Agreed. I've seen some theories that long covid is related to micro blood clots, and some very preliminary studies showing universal improvements from long term anti-coagulants---though I am far from being an expert able to really vet

Cronje definitely made money, he was one of the originators of the DeFi space. He contributed a great deal as a developer, and has famously been very annoyed by the politics and drama of the space. There's probably something to be sa

Take a look at any article that is even tangentially related to anything in crypto. You'll find a battleground of people who are die hard skeptics refusing to engage with any idea in the space. HN has always had some skepticism, but

Like most polarizing things these days, it seems like the only right response is "I don't know, someone should look into that." This is exactly the feeling I got with the love-hate for every new drug (Ivermectin, etc). No o
