TBH it sounds like you need a tech business consultant (an actual consultant, not just a contract programmer) to help you work through this. If you add your contact details to your profile I'm sure some people will contact you. Ideally

Deflection and distraction from Crowdstrike apparently not doing any testing whatsoever on their update. Still, they can't do much else otherwise they'd go bust if they admitted liability so they have to play this game.

Split it into modules and don't share the most important ones initially. Eg get them to do the infra at first, then user auth stuff, etc. Save your actual business logic for when you know and trust them more. Ultimately your brand will

If you're looking to market a new product I'm looking for testers for an app to help with that. If you add your contact details to your profile I'll ping you once it's ready (hopefully 1-2 weeks).

I learnt with a college music theory textbook. Without that, it's all just meaningless rules "just because". Music Theory Remixed by Kevin Holm-Hudson is great, accessible but pretty long. Still, I finally understand music th

That's always the problem with these things. You can no longer leverage the bigger ecosystem (e.g. just copy HTML templates from libraries), and I can probably count on no fingers the number of decent designers I've met who knew p

Almost all alerting issues can be fixed by putting managers on call too (who then have to attend the fix too). It suddenly becomes a much higher priority to get alerting in order.

You really think people aren't iterating on OpenAI because it's easy and will then look for cheaper alternatives if their apps take off? I will if the economics make sense.

There are solutions of course. But they quickly break down when you're iterating quickly, copying in code from libraries like flowbite, etc and want to go back and restyle later. A better approach that doesn't seem to exist would

I'm sorry, I'm not creating a component per HTML tag with all the possible attributes just for my design system. What a complete waste of time. Anyway the GP said he could see everything without extra files. Which is it?

A CV should be no more than 2 pages long. Bin the old stuff and SEO it for things you can still do. Get rid of your hobbies and anything about your kids too, it's just weird.
