As the other poster said, most coding mistakes are not expensive and the ones that are should have automation/testing in place around them. It is definitely not worth having someone look over your shoulder and eat up the little breaks

Amazon tries to encourage this by using a "delivery day" for all your weekly deliveries to come. They need to incentivize it a bit harder I think with free digital content. If I could rent a movie from prime (not something new but

Well the author also thinks pair programming is a good idea so I'd take what they say with a grain of salt. Also I get the impression this article is just a thinly veiled ad for their courses.

The simple solution is to not have multiple team members working on the same branch. Branches should be pretty ephemeral.

Can you really say that about Dan Abramov and Ken Wheeler though? Some of the nicest and most inclusive people in the community. I've seen them both engage people all at different points in their career and be encouraging and positive.

This is just really generic advice that most people would come up with themselves by thinking about it for a while. I feel like this a constant problem with these advice blogs. I've learned so much from books like How to win friends an

Is the data being sent to and processed at a third party? Many organizations won't allow users to use something that is going to send their emails off to third parties. I like the idea of it though.

A lot of YA fiction tends to be pretty political. Many of them have dystopian settings where this is conflict with authoritative rulers. What I feel that we are missing is writers like Kurt Vonnegut.

I would argue that most people can't, which kind of irks me that recommendations like this have been the status quo for quite some time. I think programmers in general over romanticize this way of learning.
