Cost of living in the rural west is not cheap. The pacific states are uniquely expensive. It's not at all like western NY or upstate NY, or the midwest, or the south, where everything is dirt cheap, and gets very cheap in rural areas.

You haven't spent much time on the west coast if you think the cost of living anywhere out there is low. If you want low cost of living, you need to move to the midwest or south, or throughout the NE in upstate or western NY.

No probably not, but the overwhelming majority of developed world populations (USA leading in particular) are getting far less athletic and far more obese, which is certainly a limit on athletic performance.

Most of NY state is amazing, beautiful, great outdoors and scenery, lakes, rivers, tons of nice little towns and smaller cities. And aside from NYC, it's also dirt cheap.

The bay area, like most of the USA, needs to build up. It is sprawling enough as is. Build up, not out.

I stopped using Facebook years ago and I could not recommend it more. I found it to be mental pollution at best and and a total waste of time. If you want to 'keep in touch' with people, call or text them. Make an effort to actual

That's an enormous email list, how did you get such a big member list together in the first place?

No experience but I heard about Dr Sarno and the book from Howard Stern, who swears by him. Here's a recent segment from the Howard Stern show if you want to hear a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEBI7bwrRO8

Interesting proof of concept, but the Touch Bar is still nothing I want any part of. Apple needs to make the Touch Bar a build-to-order option so that the rest of us can get a hardware Escape key and function keys back again.

I would highly recommend every patient asks their doctor(s) about health insurance and their opinions of it. You will get an interesting earful.

It was a mistake. I sometimes think about "upgrading" (downgrading) to a two year old iPhone 6s to get a headphone jack again but it is not available in 256gb.

What are the specific benefits to having an immensely expensive administrative bureaucracy lodged between the actual patient and actual health care provider? This should be easy to answer and explain.

It's hard to argue real inflation is low when housing is up 10% to 20% every year, health care goes up 15% a year, college tuition goes up 10% every year, etc. I suppose the cost of a flat screen TV is down or flat yoy though. It'

Feeling good about what you do will likely make you happier than "success", I know plenty of successful people who are miserable or still unhappy. And unsurprisingly, not liking what you do will deprive you of happiness
