Premiere Pro apparently doesn't use the GPU for h.264/5, so sadly if you want that, you have to use an Intel CPU: https://www.pugetsystems.com/recommended/Recommended-Systems...

I thought I read a few months ago that Intel still does well in the video editing space (especially with 4k), because their chips have onboard decoding hardware. Is this still true?

I seriously hope this begins to become a fashion trend in the near future. I don't see why one of the more out-there fashion designers wouldn't pick it up.

There are degrees to which tools are useful for committing crimes, and it's naive to pretend otherwise. Encryption is obviously an incredibly useful tool for committing a number of crimes, and I think it's better to argue that it&

This article is good, but to go a bit deeper, it seems like part of the problem is ultimately capitalism or the commercial nature of the modern internet. As long as there are these incredible incentives to game the system, people are going

We used to use BlueJeans where I worked, and the UX was awful compared to zoom. Just bog standard baffling stuff you expect from a video conferencing app, which Zoom finally got away from.

Immigration status has absolutely nothing to do with it. There are undocumented immigrants who can afford it, and undocumented immigrants who cannot. The relevant factor is someone's financial position, not their immigration status.
