One thing I love about this is that it forces everyone to show their true colors. Like those friends you had since high school and didn’t know they were wackos until they started posting anti-vaccine crap on their Facebook.

The year is 2024. Trump wins a second term presidency after having been unbanned from Twitter in late 2022. As he promised soon after he pulls US out of NATO, allowing Russia to annex the rest of Ukraine. The threat of a full scale nuclear

How is this an argument? Price is taking into consideration the dividends. Also Cisco didn’t start paying dividend until 2011, when CSCO was trading at $20 or so. If you think that $69 is a good price to pay for CSCO I’m happy to sell you a

2000, CSCO was $69. Still hasn’t reached those levels since. Good enough argument?

That’s my experience, yes. I wonder if there are enough such people to make Starlink profitable.

My experience with Starlink is that it kind of works(I get 50-100Mb bandwidth) but I have multiple(as in 10s) sub-second interruptions every hour. Dishy view is completely unobstructed. And weather is clear most of the time in California. A

I wonder if the extended sedentary lifestyle imposed by the lockdowns is also to blame to some degree. I used to be very active, but seem unable to get back to shape more than one year after lockdown ended and gyms reopened. I only got a ve

Alternative to Cox? I don’t think you have actually tried Starlink, otherwise you wouldn’t say that. For me, bandwidth is between 60Mbps and 100Mbps. Latency 50-100ms. But the worst is how unreliable it is. Muktisecond blackouts many times

Probably you know that already but you can buy Sandisk SDs straight from the Western Digital website (they bought Sandisk sometime back). Tried them a couple of times and delivery was prompt and free! Highly recommend it.
