Personally I would like to see iAP to be considered like advertising and for it to be more heavily regulated at child audiences. Tired of my 4 year old crying because I won't let him spend another $4 to unlock another widget.

I more strongly object to "Buying" DRM'd content that I don't actually own. It should say "License" or something.

1. iAP are obviously not evil. 2. How the industry uses them probably is. 3. Your game isn't free if you have to pay to enjoy it. 4. "Developers gotta eat" doesn't have anything to do with it.

Seems like it would be easy to make a model that still houses the paper to prevent tipping and would still allow for infrequent loading.

I haven't looked yet but I would like to see experiments that look at how varying amounts of HFCS cause extra weight. It could be that even a small amount (over time or not) damages something and then causes weight gain or it could ju

It is nice because it is logical and not philosophical. I remember seeing similar discussions regarding mining for terrorist suspects. The only part of this argument that is up for debate is how accurate the techniques are.

One issue with self-hosted is that your ISP may block SMTP or worse they add their customer IP blocks to spam blacklists.

The key feature I used Astrid for was the ability to have recurring tasks based on the date of last completion instead of fixed intervals. Does anything else out there do that?

The author is promoting a machine he has never used and is comparing a non-SSD machine to an SSD machine. This would have been semi-interesting if it was discussing the XPS 13 DE under actual use.

It's not the weapon that violates any of that it is the person using the weapon. Some weapons have purposes other than as a weapon but your argument would still imply that your right to life, liberty, and happiness would be violated so we s

There's a difference between developer and user. The developer is likely a multi-tasker looking at the design and code and images. Part of my concern about a "720p" screen is remembering how some unresizable windows wouldn't even fit on the

You can export your stuff from Instapaper as CSV. Read it Later lets you export your stuff as HTML. If you wanted to switch you could probably script the migration in a few minutes.

InstaFetch sucks in a lot of ways. I bought it on the Kindle Fire and it has a couple huge flaws. Pagination hides text behind the Fire's little menu bar. You have to click a button (or wait a minimum of an hour) to sync. The sync process t
