Doesn't that simply highlight how unfit for that purpose it is (along with things like Social Security numbers in the US)?

Don't want to sound condescending about drivers but on my street I see plenty of people who don't alter their behaviour with the speed bumps - either because they are not observant or it's not their vehicle (the council rubbi

I suspect that telesilla knew that and merely missed out the word Electron by mistake (given the post it was a response to mentioning the Electron connection).

Screencasts for the reasons you give can be very helpful with the right kind of people for this sort of scenario. I gave up sending them to one person (who sadly needed them the most) as I'd got to the stage of having to ask he view th

Easy misunderstanding. Yet assuming you didn't know this, it would logically raise a question as to why all posts featuring some form of product or service were not Show HN then.

It's the least gendered synthetic voice I've heard but there is still a slight wobble between being first a hint more male and then a hint more female. Also seems to me like it's somewhat camp - a neutral voice in that regar

Given that it's due to the lights, with the day time image usage being fine, I wonder if that means you could simulate a (new) photorealistic nighttime view based on a day time image and post that subtly different image without breakin

Looks like they should clarify the bounds of this functionality. Obviously they know who they're talking about, but good communication wouldn't assume the reader does. Presumably it's only working within a G Suite organisatio

Precisely. I would love to see this succeed but it's not $99 even in the US - with Arrow, there's tax taking it up $120 and then the UK shipping cost is about the same as you found for France ($42-44 depending on option). Feels li

Seems like this is much worse in the US - I've had the same number in the UK since 2000 and not had a robocall EVER. The occasional human spam call comes in (like once every two or three months) but I tend to just hang up and usually G
