From the user’s perspective, there’s not much difference between good code and bad code if the gameplay is the same. The bad code might be a nightmare for the developer adding new features and updates, but it doesn’t directly affect the use

I think there are good use cases for AI, I never said otherwise. Creating simulacra of real people is not one of them, I believe. > yet adoption and the gamut of use cases keep ever expanding. I don't see how that's evidence in

1. Neither of my screen is to the side of the other. 2. The demo doesn't even work, the div stays centered in the viewport, not the program window when I open a side bar (Firefox). 3. Rarely does my browser even cover the center of my

I’m not surprised, that’s exactly the kind of person who would want this kind of technology. Remember, society as a whole will decide what's acceptable, there are no objective, natural laws that decide that. My gut feeling is that this

Then just stop playing games if that happens. They’re not necessary, it’s not worth getting fucked over by the corpos. Or make your own games or play ones made by indies that you can actually own.

If someone asks you a question at work, you answer them, or explain why you won’t/can’t. If they wanted an AI answer they could have asked it themself.

AI or no AI, it’s incredible that this design won. Either the judges have questionable judgement or the other entries must not have been very good.

It immediately looks like AI slop because nearly every square inch is filled with with something, however meaningless and useless it might be to the overall composition. AI is good at filling an image with shit, and bad at knowing when to l

That wasn’t clear to me. Yes, they share similar roots because they have a common ancestor language. Just like any pair of extinct or extant languages descended from PIE.

That still does not make Sanskrit an ancestor language of English, though both English and Sanskrit do share a common ancestry several thousand years ago. English has borrowed words from many languages, as all but the most isolated language

That’s what I meant, but worded poorly: that for anyone to legally be living there it wouldn’t currently meet the standards. Renting any part of that building out is likely not worth the hassle compared to the ad revenue, as you noted.

I did read the article. It mentions HIV/AIDS. The comment I replied to said only HIV, and as they noted, HIV alone doesn’t necessarily imply any ill health effects at all. However some people with HIV who then develop AIDS may in fact

I used to live just about across the road from a large cemetery in the middle of Chicago. It was one of the quietest places around to take a walk and be surrounded by trees. Cemeteries are great places for quiet walks.

Couldn't you just take any 2D space filling curve and extend it infinitely on the Z axis to make a space filling 3D surface?
