Well, I suspect it's done because it's almost "free" and it's good PR for an engine I hope will become a great alternative to Unity. Here's more on the topic https://godotengine.org/article/

I just can't stand Lua as a language to code games in. C# is so much nicer when writing complicated algorithms. For a flappy bird game it's probably fine. And if I absolutely had to use Lua, wouldn't Defold be a better altern

Look great. I really want an alternative to unity to do ECS 2d mobile games. It's not super complicated tech (although takes time to implement for sure in a game engine), but at the moment there's not really any alternatives, so a

How so? Mars has an atmosphere unlike the moon, it has water in some form and quantity and has approximately the same length of the day as Earth, plus it has gravity much closer to Earth than what the moon has.

I dont think they are the same size at all :S it really is a crossover vs sedan case for me. I like how the 3 is more sporty and also a bit cheaper, but the Y seems like a more practical family car also having some higher ground clearance i

Wonder if it's still possible to get answers here :) giving it a shot although it's 13h old by now. We use Go for a production server for multiple of our games, it's used to sync gamestates between devices and allows us to re

Also typicallt the whole roof wouldn't have solarpanels. Only the side in the sun. And the dummy shingles will presumably be alot cheaper.

I love it and will buy it. Had the speedometer in the middle of the car on my Toyota Yaris and never had any problems with it. Lots of people wanted more buttons when the first iPhone came, but then all of that changed. Also, I think the ca

How long does the battery last? I'd like a camera at our summer cottage to take a timelapse during the whole winter (in Finland, so snowy), turn itself on each day, take a pic, shut down, repeat for like 6months, not sure it's pos

I dont agree. Not cringy and awkward, but human and real. Who cares if he stutters and doesn't bring a polished salespitch. And he's nerdy for sure, but why have it any other way. Also the few jokes thay occur are typically funny

Every time Elon presents something we have this coversation. I for one love listening to him talk compared to say the presenters at Apple and Microsofts recent event. He's genuine, doesn't feel like a salesman, talks about the rea

Yeah noticed this as well. Sucks big time, hopefully it won't have a long term effect on ranks! Also some big companies are missing when searching. For example when I search for Wooga, it didn't find anything, but Supercell it did

I got a couple questions for the devs behind it. We've also looked a bit to at it, we're a cocos2d studio, but thinking of moving to cocos2dx or unity for future projects, and ofcourse Defold is an interesting alternative as well.

As I posted on the other thread (that didn't seem to get a lot of attention), the range is actually worse on the P85D (270 miles on the P85 and 253 miles on the P85D),

Not sure he could. The P85D has a lower reported range than the P85 (270 miles on the P85 and 253 miles on the P85D).

Repost, but really handy, used to easily test a website on my phone not long ago. It felt like a good lazy mans solution to testing stuff. Also good to quickly let friends try your local server.

Yeah I was also hoping this would be more something along the lines of the Google App Engine. I like just writing the application's code not having to worry about the stack too much.

It's about time! It's been such a hassle always needing the device id, creating the provisioning profiles, having to recreate the profiles and rebuild the project for every user you add. And also being limited to only 100 devices.

I'd really like a 100gb for $40/year instead. I'd be happy to upgrade but can't justify paying $100/year. I know there are logical arguments that it's just $60 more per year etc. But this is how I feel and I&#x

Why would it be meaningless? The comparison shows that fast.js works for what it was intended to do, it's doing stuff faster than it's native counterparts.
