This is not really true. It was relatively easy to obtain a copy of visual studio for rather cheap if you tried. I know because I used their tools all through high school, college, and beyond and was rather poor during those times in the l

It’s really sad that money always wins and the future of computing is a 30% tax from Silicon Valley behemoths. Congrats everyone we did it.

I'm rather amazed at the sheer number of human hours invested (wasted?) into making a terrible language(s) better just so things are slightly easier for beginners.

They are doing no such thing. You don't have to use side loaded apps. If a company decides to only distribute from side loading, you can just not use their app. This is effectively what you are forcing on people who would prefer sid

I don't personally know a single person outside of developers that have side loaded apps on Android. Maybe I am an anomaly, but it just seems very rare.

Does your dishwasher actively add heat outside of drying? Mine just uses hot water from the water heater. I don't think it even has heating elements tbh. For drying it has crystal dry which is zeolite.

The difference is that it is not a "standardized" OS interface. Rather it's a complex layer on top of operating systems offering dumbed down and less performant versions of what is available all of which is interfaced by a d

FDIC insurance is 250k, not 500k. It's not Apples to Apples, but it demonstrates that the banking system is not rock solid either. Not only that, if you really want to look at exploitation of the poor look no further than our large ban

Not with the stock market. When you put a dollar in the stock market someone else is taking a dollar out. For every buyer there is a seller and vice versa.

Hmm, my gaming oriented laptop (not what I use it for) does not have wobbly hinges at all, and I find the aluminum on the macs far more susceptible to dings and crap than the hardshell of the PC laptop.
