In a virtualized world there's no consequences. It sounds counter-intuitive but I think that would be worse off because something in the virtualized environment might give you false confidence in the real world and that has serious imp

Should this include when loading autocompletions in the title? zsh loads in 105ms for me on a 7 year old workstation but I don't have that source command for Kubernetes' autocompletion in my zshrc. I'm only loading a few plug

I've been running Docker on WSL 2 for a while now, without systemd or Docker Desktop. There's no need to wait for systemd. You can install Docker following their Linux guide and then in your shell's profile file add: if

For local variables I'd also use the -r flag to explicitly mark read-only variables when possible. It makes it easier to glance at the code and know that variable isn't expected to change.

The Rails https://github.com/rails/jsbundling-rails gem lets you pick between esbuild, rollup and Webpack. If Turbopack ends up being popular then jsbundling should be able to support it. The nice thing about Rails now

That was a nice touch to include the gradient title bar. I always thought that was a fun feature. Too bad they removed it with Windows 10 / 11 by default.
