I think ROS was/is an incredible boon for open-source and education, and Willow Garage did great work by creating such a strong community for it. Unfortunately, I don't think that ROS has kept up with the requirements of more mode

This is awesome. When I was maybe 8 or 9 my parents woke me up to watch a huge meteor shower. We sat in the street in camping chairs for the best view of the sky and it was magical. I remember it strongly to this day.

With typical EV workloads you'd only do this type of fast charging on a roadtrip or similar. The remaining time you'd be charging at home at much lower rates. Not to say there aren't people who only charge at superchargers, b

Makes sense. I think it's less about speed of response and more that for many SWEs, we don't necessarily have the authority to reach out and create relationships between our companies and another vendor. I certainly am not going t

This is cool, but the overhead to learn more is pretty high. I have to "contact sales" to either get started or get a demo, there's no technical details about how it works (I assume that it's basically like GPU/deep

Looks like each flight is 10-20 seconds and you get 5-8 flights[1] which is like 90 seconds of flight? Additional batteries are 20 bucks so I guess they're going with making it easy to swap batteries rather than giving it a long flight

Ease of use and product design are certainly novel, not to mention marketing the product to a customer outside the traditional drone consumer segment (i.e. tech focused/interested adults).
