Everyone in this thread talking about how "science is never settled" and maybe that's true, but this move isn't designed to discredit some competing scientists, it's designed to shutdown bad-faith propaganda paid for by oil companies and other entrenched interests. Curious how y'all would propose combating this type of misinformation. Or is this just something we should accept as a necessary evil on any platform?
