Mozilla has gotten billions of dollars from Google - if they had stayed small and put a significant portion of that income into an endowment fund, they'd be in a much better position for the long term.

Oh, I didn't mention it in the original post, but I'm also using magisk hide, or zygote, or whatever they're calling it now. Additionally, I've blocklisted certain apps so that they're not even allowed to request ro

Sure, I'm using a Moto g100 / Edge S (different branding depending on where in the world it was purchased, but it's the same hardware). And this is the script I'm using: https://github.com/NicolasWebDev&#

As a side note to this, Aurora store is awesome. If you sign in with your Google account, then you can install paid apps that you've purchased, but the Play store thinks are incompatible with your device. In my experience, the majority

I'm running lineageOS, and I had to root the phone to make one banking app work (and Netflix and some games.) It actually passes SafetyNet out of the box, but there's a CTS profile check that some apps do in addition to SafetyNet,

Yeah, I don't actually use spotify, but I've seen this behavior with a combination of Audible, Libby, Smart AudioBook Player, Youtube, Nebula, and Plexamp. Smart AudioBooks Player is by far the best behaved of the bunch. I think

Probably 10 years ago, my brother installed some new RAM in his Lenovo laptop on Christmas day, after which point it refused to turn on - with either the new or old RAM. We contacted Lenovo and they sent someone out to our house about 2 day

I had pretty good experience with replacing the battery in a pixel 2 with one from iFixit. On the other hand, the iPod touch battery that I got off eBay only lasted about 6 months before refused to charge.

I don't know, defaults are pretty powerful. There's already a Chrome-branded Safari wrapper on iOS; but my guess is that the majority of iOS users use "regular" Safari and will continue to because it's the default.

I've had that experience with some of my testing devices. For the jailbroken one, I can SSH in and see what's happening, and I recall that in at least one case it was an apple process that was sitting at 100% (I think it was sprin

Not yet, but you can pre-order them from some vendors. The 4 and 8gb models should ship in October. FWIW, the Pi 4 and Pi Zero W are both fairly available these days. The Zero 2 W is still in short supply, but aside from that, the shortage

Yeah, that's a fair point. I've never had any of those shares, but I'm sure they exist. I'd probably take that over residuals.

My intuition is that residuals have a higher chance of a low payout, whereas options have a lower chance of being worth anything, but probably a higher value if they do pay off.
