I mean, so is Reddit. Subreddit moderators are public information. All the original image did was take this data and aggregate it onto one chart. HN doesn't say "100% of posts are moderated by the same people" anywhere on the

One of the interesting side effects of this is what happens after the pandemic is over but the technology is still implemented. What other things could be worth tracking? I once did a hackathon where we used ShotSpotter to generate an array

Sure! I agree. There are plenty of different authentication standards. But if these are all highly ubiquitous standards implemented by a myriad of apps, why is this work passed on to the developer, and not handled by the operating system? W

It is a bit confusing why developers are still expected to implement entire UIs themselves. Almost every app today that's not a game uses the same exact layout: tables and grids. As a mobile app developer I could save so much time by h

Have you had a look at Particle? https://www.particle.io/ I used them for a previous job and had no problems. They support WiFi and GSM out the gate, and you don't even need to write any code for prototyping if you use

There is rich irony in exploiting a country that rejects global capitalism while believing that "the shadow hands of globally sanctioned socialist labor" is socialist at all.

I mean, HVAC systems are supposed to remain usable for 20+ years, it's not really something you can throw on a production line in a matter of days. Most likely, someone already is working on such a system.

I really believe this is why SaaS is such a dominating business model now. Software licensing failed because it is technically impossible, and no amount of clever tricks will save you from determined groups / individuals. If it runs on
