Space tends to be at a premium for cruisers, and modern cruisers are increasingly embracing electricity for powering everything. Charge efficiency is a big one, but it's also just maximizing energy capacity in the available volume.

On a long enough timeline, especially with more energetic atmospheric conditions, isn't it possible for the land to redistribute itself more uniformly from the various forms of erosion to the extent that it's all submerged?

At the relevant companies I've worked this didn't need to be explicitly told to the sales people. The monetary incentives put in place already had all the saleswomen attending events dolled up to the max, because it directly affec

Not all cultures are obsessed with sheltering their children from the full gamut of life and emotion. The story is about a young person faced with adversity, it's age appropriate and prepares a child reader for what lies ahead.

As cycloptic mentioned, journald is one of the few tightly-coupled components. The difference is the utilities you mention interoperate at the level of bare UNIX pipes and execv/argv. Systemd components are largely integrated via dbus

It's less worrying if you view systemd as a mono-repo containing a collection of related projects maintained in one place, one of which is PID 1 - which really should have been renamed to systemd-initd. The fact that Debian is able to

Presumably the battery+shielding sets minimum volumetric requirements, and those form factors meet them while providing easy and robust circuit integration using existing standards.

If you're on a systemd distro, one advantage is you already have systemd-nspawn. Although, on debian boxes, it's split out into the systemd-container package. Another advantage is it's somewhat integrated into the rest of sy

So is there no co2 tax paid on used vehicle purchases? I'm mostly curious how this impacts lower income folks who won't likely be able to afford a shiny new EV.

ICEs won't be dead until they're difficult to find/afford to fuel and operate reliably on a daily basis. At some point it seems inevitable, but I don't think we'll be seeing gas stations closing down any time soon.
