For my master thesis, I wrote a small tool that would take and analyze raw genomic high throughput data of various T-cells (chip-seq + rna-seq of th17 to be precise) and create a regulatory network in Cytoscape. The basis was a paper relat

The worst case is that this app has negligible impact and even if it did, trying it as a strategy that helps fight Corona is still worth €20m. Paying students €500 a month as emergency help will cost hundreds of millions and this is a singl

Super late, but maybe you see this. I do not agree with the looting at all and believe these people have to be stopped and held accountable. However, I think that the situation is so difficult, that society is incapable of finding a real he

Why would you be wary? 15min of full body sunexposure will net you ~20,000 IU. Supplementing 8-10,000 IU will not bring you into danger territory by a LONG shot.

Doctors usually recommend 1k IU per day but this has been shown to be problematic. 8k-10k IU is much better. Spending a day on the beach will net you many 10ks of vitamin D (given full body exposure to the sun). https://www.ncbi.

Absolutely, but I thought I was talking in the context of grocery stores, not e-commerce giants without comparable alternatives. I am very skeptical Amazon would be able to take significant market share from Aldi, Lidl, REWE or Edeka.
