Yes, in addition to what javajosh found, your class names are rather generic and I imagine might lead to clashes. I'd personally recommend prefixing your class names with something (rather like FontAwesome now prefixes their classnames

It's almost certainly not Apple that removed the app (unless they're the ones that bought it). Read the article again, it clearly states: > When an app is acquired, the acquirer usually requests for it to be pulled.

Since he asks for feedback at the end... Using sha256 just to compute changes is probably overkill. Using md5 instead is almost certainly adequate and will be a good deal faster.

Indeed. It's possible to get decent Emmentaler, but most of the prepackaged Emmentaler is really the European equivalent of American sliced "cheese food".

Would be great if you had a screencast or tour to better show what it's like to use the system. I'm interested, but not interested enough to sign up... yet.

You're certainly right that it can be a fine line. I personally would respond better if there would be simple, static, highlighted boxes at the top and bottom of the article, that scrolled with the article.

The article was going along nicely until the huge bright orange banner came down asking me to vote on HN. I just couldn't read any more after that, it was simply too distracting and I couldn't get rid of it. I don't criticize

Love the idea of keeping the data at home, but 'in the cloud' at the same time. I hope to soon start a project of doing something similar for photo/video management. A few recommendations for you that I also plan on for mysel

Your definition of "partner" is very limited. You might want look at some other definitions before making potentially offensive statements like that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partner In this case, the mother's partner is another woman

I did this once in Charlotte (which btw is normally an excellent airport). I had to wait about 15 minutes for 'the agent' to show up that would conduct the pat-down. There were about 5 TSA agents standing around doing nothing while I was wa

Indeed. In many parts of the world the normal intercity bus ride is a quite pleasurable experience, significantly better in many ways than flying a budget (or pretty much any) airline.

On of the main reasons I like static site generators so much is that it makes maintaining a website more like developing software. I have 'sources', which I keep in a Git repo for powerful versioning, I 'build' the website from the sources,

Not to take anything away from vmg (what a great pull request!)... but "RealHardComputerScience" is writing a hash function, not swapping out one hash function for another based on some profiling. ;-)
