And if the package supports the "typings" property, you don't even need to separately install types.

JavaScript's "logic" may be single-threaded, but it's asynchronous event loop solves a lot of problems that a single-threaded synchronous model has (like what Python has by default).

"And those were very simple cars to manufacture. Teslas are... well... not." Why are Tesla Model 3 cars not simple to manufacture? I would estimate that they're simpler than regular gasoline-powered cars.

Hmm, I've found that the polyfills work fine, if you need to target IE11 and latest Firefox/Chrome. Even old Chrome versions work well with the polyfill.

Does gx support multiple, parallel versions of the same dependency (e.g. a dependency tree)? How does it work, and does it work with Node.js's require/resolve algorithm?

You're incorrect. TypeScript can do a lot of type inference. I've used TypeScript full-time for about two years, I don't have experience with Scala.js though.

The article links to a bunch of jsperf.com benchmarks, but I believe[1][2] these microbenchmarks are not very useful, since they don't reflect real-time performance differences. 1. http://mrale.ph/blog/2014/02

If static typing is the selling point of Scala.js you might as well use TypeScript, which would be familiar to JavaScript developers.
