The last time I used a tape it broke right off the reel the first time I used it. Good name brand tape drive, good name brand tape. I felt pretty burned by that experience after the money spent and the result.

Starting today, almost everything is unusable on Firefox. Seems like there’s been some change in DNS or maybe it’s just my ISP but Safari is fine.

FYI they misquoted the price for Starlink service. They used the city price which is higher. In the country Starlink makes it cheaper. So essentially city users who don’t really need Starlink are subsidizing the rural users, which is kind o

They neglected to put in other numbers though because the other numbers don’t fit their narrative. For instance, the total tonnage of atmospheric air which dwarfs their scare numbers by any measure. 5.15 x 10^15 tons is a way bigger number.

The live stream was fine, and everyone that wanted to got in. Started late, but they always do with Elon. The content was the problem -- super softball mild conversation. Elon stayed away from sensitive issues and Trump spouted a lot of lie

Model 3 is pretty simple. You can literally hang a cloth over the screen covering it and still do pretty much everything, most of the time, if the screen bothers you. The car has a few physical hardware buttons that do what you need.

Since this view seems underrepresented here, I'll say I'd just as soon see the number of aircraft in the sky stay at right about what it is now, not more. Having random tech bros flying overhead is not an anxiety reducing phenomen
