You seem to have a reasonable level of self control. I'd recommend abstaining completely for a full month to gague your addiction level (e.g. if you can't make it a month your problem may be more serious) and also get a better ide

The fact that ME and UEFI have network stacks doesn't mean that they are always active. And yes there is nic support embedded in the firmware. This is how you're able to pxe boot or bring up the nic after booting EFI shell for exa

The truth lies somewhere in between. I'd recommend finding a good eye doctor you trust (ask around) and look at your itemized bill and insurance closely to figure out what's best for you. I'll say that my insurance, while not

I think you may just need a new optometrist, they should be able to ask the right questions and provide options that make sense for you. I've also never met of an eye doctor that would push back when someone asked for computer glasses,

Even if it did block them in the app, we have no way of knowing if tracking pixels links are followed by Google when it scans/sorts you mail server-side.

As someone who grew up with the web, it feels odd that I distrust all of these direct-to-consumer product sites by default. Mattresses, underwear, watches, shaving equipment, etc. It all feels like a gimmick.

Referring to the "more free" version of something as the primary version is an fsf hallmark. Not sure if it is sarcasm or a activism/messaging thing.

Wow, if this was any other company this guy would have just been sued. I don't really have a problem with the guy scraping and using other techniques to get around playing ads and other restrictions. But then he turns around and sells

I was curious how Windows 8 could already have reached the end of its support lifecycle. Turns out Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 are no longer supported but Windows 8.1 Update still is. Great naming scheme...

Everyone in the contact list didn't provide consent. Facebook better understands the privacy implications here more than individual users so I don't see anything wrong with placing most of the blame on Facebook.
