again, energy use in of itself is not a problem. if you're running off solar or nuclear, have a blast. the problem is Co2 in the atmosphere

I don't like this way oh phrasing it, as if growth was some external religious belief that has infected us. The reality is far more depressing. When you get down to it, what is growth? Growth means tomorrow is more comfortable than yes

I agree that the STL isn’t a core part of C++, but exceptions clearly are - can you call it C++ if you can’t use all the features of C++ ?

I wouldn't say Symbian was C++ - I remember it being a sort of intermediate step between C and C++. There were no exceptions, no STL, and many other weird quirks

It’s not perhaps less, it’s definitely yes. Burning fossil fuels kills more people in a year than the entire history of nuclear power

The massive advantage of hydro is that it also serves as energy storage. Too much wind today? Just use the excess electricity to pump water back up

I think you’re focusing your anger on the wrong target. Is it Google’s fault for performing blind objective skill tests? Or is it your society’s fault for not giving you the chance to grow up fed and safe enough to study?

Yes, because the Hausmannian places are too expensive, due to their global popularity :)

The sponsorblock seems pretty hypocritical: “I don’t want to give money to Google”… “Actually I don’t want to give money to creators either”

How many miles are you putting on that i10?! An oil change is every 2 years or 15k km. I think it’s a bad example btw, it’s a famously reliable car (the taxi of choice in Bogota fwiw)
