Because when the public hears about other reasonable people showing hesitancy, it shows that the media narrative isn't as true as it is made to be. I imagine it is to the advantage of both pilots and SW to not admit it is about the vac

The workplace is a social hub for many people, although it seems many on HN don't care to socialize at work much.

It's highly ignorant to call unvaccinated Americans idiots. Over 100 million Americans have already caught and recovered from Covid. I imagine many in that group don't see any value in getting the vaccine (rightfully so).

That's not why they are decommissioning this test though. There's no reason that both this test, and a covid/influenza test cannot coexist. CDC is explicitly decommissioning this test, and it's not clear why in their ann

I'm curious as to why there is no transparency from the CDC on why this test is being decommissioned. Just because there are tests that can do both Influenza and Covid, does not mean that this test would need to be retracted.

Are you sure about that? Can you explain to me what the wording from the CDC announcement means?

How should this message from the CDC be interpretted? Why is the CDC removing authorization for this test? This is the CDC post in question: https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert...

It's surprising how many people don't know about this stuff. I've brought it up to lots of people, and they get very uneasy when I show them that it's factual.

Same here. I live in a 950 square foot apartment. I can't stand being in the same space all day long. I need a change of space, and I actually enjoy working in the company building. It's a very modern work space.

I would ignore a message like that as well. I would expect someone to state their purpose in a message before proposing some kind of call or in-person meeting. I don't think general "reconnecting" is a meaningful purpose.

I did not expect to see platform censorship accelerate at this rate. It always seems to be government and media dictating the terms of the censorship as well, which should be very concerning.
