A little known fact is that you can disable lockdown mode per site and per app (e.g. you can disable lockdown mode for obsidian to make it work properly since it is web based). So actually it isn’t disabling JIT, it is making JIT opt-in. Yo

I’m not even sure humanity wants them. I lived in socal for years in a home where the property management paid for landscaping. Every week, they would come and use leaf blowers to blow my dust onto my neighbor’s lawn. The next day the neigh

I think I’d rather see it go the other way - humor, except the least offensive (think “dad joke”), should be excised from the workplace. I’ve been involved in close-knit friends/like-a-family organizations and sterile, professional org

I disagree, most of that is upgrades except the “are you sure” when ending workouts. On the other hand, it seems to be much better about automatically starting and stopping workouts, mainly for walks, which has drastically improved my day t

I do think Apple withdrawing from the EU would be preferable to degrading the experience, quality, and safety of the platform for the vast majority of people who are not in the EU.

I don’t think stylus is the answer on phone for text input. Maybe on a phablet. I haven’t experienced it being better and only use pencil on my iPad when in a meeting where typing or using a laptop would be obnoxious. The Apple Pencil doesn

Most of the products on the site appear to be candy/junk that shouldn’t be consumed in large quantities anyway. There is probably substantial social good being done by making the default portions of pringles and chocolate smaller.

You can disable lockdown mode in web views for specific apps. You do it in settings because those apps don’t have the usual Safari UI for configuring that.

You can turn off lockdown mode per site and per-app in safari. I had to do that to get Obsidian to work, but I also use it for specific trusted sites.

How many engineers does it take to lose chats, give bots unfettered access, not back up my messages, and spam me with low quality ads? It’s worth pointing out that the fees they charge for the premium subscription are absolutely outrageous.
