Nice! I don't like how C has null terminated char arrays plays with this. Ideally this would somehow enforce a guard null byte at the end of each array not included in the size.

Maybe because he trained it on Mexico City videos and as an example in the subway for those particular sounds the ANN best matched the subway, the subway where in the training set the trains were that color. That was a great question BTW!

Thanks, slideshow is such a great way to describe it. I always explained it as time slowed down, but maybe people did not understand how time went ... like ... this as a flip-book being released really slowly.

Wow, can you please elaborate on the disorder like the name? When I was a kid this slideshow effect would happen to me repeatedly and then never again since high school. Nobody I've ever mentioned this to has a clue what it was.

I wonder if some sort of logarithmic with pedestal encoding could be used, that way you could have better precision around where you expect most of your values to be yet have a large range as well. Bonus, multiplies are just adds.

About 3:2 pulldown, 120 = 24 * 5 so if you get panels that update at 120Hz it's easy to accommodate 24Hz 30Hz & 60Hz.
