I've read somewhere else that Apple did not participate in wide lay-offs which means they play their own game and don't fire what they recently acquired. Hence it makes sense that other companies have worse big picture and outlook

They could ship a lot of them in less plastic to a vendor where you could get them in a paper bag.

In Germany they introduced the McVegan a couple years ago. It wasn't great with a weird patty. They changed that to Veganburger TS sometime ago https://www.mcdonalds.com/de/de-de/product/veganburger-ts-25

Aldi has a great chicken replacement and the meatballs packaged with a pack of ketchup are excellent. I would wish for them to be available in a larger version without the ketchup. Another problem I have with all of this is the plastic pack

Medical doctors don‘t need to work 80 hour weeks. These exploitative systems need to be abolished. These should be basic human rights.

When I read here about nuclear as a solution I never read about how much fuel there is left, where it comes from, how much CO2 digging up the fuel and processing it is created as well as the waste management. The waste is not a solved probl

I see it similarly in Germany. More social housing build by the government is needed to enable people with lower income living there. We did that less and less in Germany and now we pay the price. Higher rents and less room to live in.

I bike with a plain bike but would love a heavy duty e-bike to do groceries. No need for a car but not enough room in a backpack.

The Path app was a good social network in hindsight. Share your stuff and look at others stuff. All sorted by date. No algorithms. Which is why it probably failed. Facebook sucks and I‘d hope that politicians in Germany would take action ag

I'm a little nostalgic here, but social media was more fun and healthier when the timelines were simple streams of the stuff your friends posted. That's when it was still good and went down the drain around 2014 or 2015 when the F

Social media as it is done by Facebook is the major problem. We need no algorithmic timelines, no manipulation what can be seen by a company. Just what you follow is a scrollable timeline. Group features that cannot be moderated need to be

There won't be any, it will be either go to the epic store or don't use our product. For certain apps it will be a pain in the ass. And to be honest, this is why I buy Apple not Android. I don't want to think about it. There

I see a problem with the Facebook, the Microsoft, the Epic store with all different rules and payment methods. Having them to cross a common threshold is better for me as an end user.

But when you use the store, you need to pay for using and maintaining the store, which is the other 27%. Why would you expect to upload apps in the store and let them be downloaded for free?

So what is the current state of affairs with nuclear on CO2 neutrality? Last I heard, in its life time it is not CO2 neutral due to mining and storing the fuel. Are these solved problems?

First I read it with an open mind, but to the end it gets weirder. Everything is thrown together at the end with saying “The unmasked”; “the unvaxxinated”; “chuds”; “magatards”; “Brexiteers”. Well there certainly are different view points,
